The Grade 1 Pacific Classic was his most recent win. He covered 1 ¼ miles on dirt in 1:59.28 over Country Grammer and Royal Ship.

As a son of Tapit, he won coast-to-coast races this season. Starting in the Grade 1 Metropolitan Stakes at Belmont Park in New York, Flightline raced at Del Mar in the West Coast’s Pacific Classic on Sept. 3. In winning the BC Classic, he should be three-for-three in all time zones.

Place: Life Is Good

The NFL's "Best Bets" of Week 9

The  NFL's Week 9 "Best Bets"

Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions

The Packers have lost four in a row SU and they covered once ATS in last Sunday night's game against Buffalo by a half point losing 27-17. This game, Green Bay is a 3.5-point favorite on the road. Detroit has lost five straight games SU and has not covered in four. The advantage is the Lions gaining a half point on the spread.

Green Bay is 0-5 ATS on the road against the Lions in the last five games in Detroit. Given the three-point spread either way, the best bet is a cover by the Lions at home.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals

Seattle has won three straight (SU and ATS) games by double-digit margins. The Seahawks' offense is supported by running back Kenneth Walker III and the defense is supported by 22 sacks in eight games. Arizona has lost three out of four games SU due to inconsistent play on offense, defense and special teams.

The Seahawks are 7-1-1 SU in their last nine road  games against Arizona. At two-point underdogs on the road this Sunday, they should follow suit. The best bet is Seattle covering the point spread against the Cardinals by winning SU.

Tennessee Titans vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Tennessee has won its last five straight games this season (SU and ATS) by running the ball and playing defense. Kansas City is 5-2 SU in the regular season by passing the ball via Patrick Mahones. The Titans and the Chiefs are on top of their division in the AFC but Kansas City is a 12-point favorite at home.

The Titans are 5-1 both SU and ATS against the Chiefs in the last six games they played. As long as Tennessee runs the ball efficiently this Sunday night, the score should not get way out of hand. The best bet is Tennessee covering the 12 points on the road.

Thursday Night Football Week 9- Philadelphia Eagles vs. Houston Texans

Week 9 of the NFL kicks off Thursday night with the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles visiting the Houston Texans as 13-points road favorites. The total line for this game is 44 points.

Philadelphia is 7-0 SU on the year and 5-2 ATS. The Texans are just 1-5-1 SU but 3-3-1 against the spread. Houston is 2-1-1 ATS on the road and 1-2 ATS at home this season and the total has stayed UNDER in four of the last seven games.

The Eagles are double-digit favorites on the road in light of the way they performed this season both on offense and defense. The Philadelphia offense has scored 196 points which is third in the NFC while only playing seven games. The Eagles' defense has 23 sacks and 10 interceptions in the same timeframe.

The Texans are double-digit home underdogs which points to their performance in a bad way. Davis Mills is quarterback for Houston and he only has eight touchdown throws against six interceptions. The offensive rushing attack only equals 647 yards in seven games. The defense of Houston is not that bad but it has been on the field for a long time heading into a short week.

In light in of recent betting stats, Philadelphia is 5-1 ATS in its last six road games going back to the previous season. The Eagles are 10-1 SU in its last 11 games against the AFC South. The total has gone OVER in six of the Eagles' last seven games against the AFC.

Houston is 1-9-1 SU in its last 11 games at home and 0-7 SU againsts the NFC in seven games. The total has gone OVER in four of the last five games against the NFC East. The Texans are 3-10 ATS in the last 13 games played on a Thursday.

The Eagles should cover the 13 points on the road and the total will go OVER the 44-point line. Philadelphia lights it up on offense to spark the game going over 50 points combined.
