One of the most heavily bet NFL regular season player props is on which quarterback will throw for the most yards in the regular season. Heading into the 2019 NFL season, the battle lines have been drawn between a few veteran gunslingers such as Atlanta's Matt Ryan and Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger and the young guns in the league led by Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes.
All three of these quarterbacks are at the top of the list at BetAnySports online sportsbook when it comes to the betting odds to win this prop. As part of my NFL coverage for the popular sports betting site Scores & Stats, the link below is to my breakdown of which quarterbacks offer the best betting value for cashing that winning ticket.

Betting On The NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
Anytime you are the Heisman Trophy winner going first in the NFL Draft as a team's new franchise quarterback, you are going to be favored to win Offensive Rookie of the Year. In 2017, Oklahoma Sooners' quarterback Baker Mayfield won the Heisman as the most outstanding college football player that season. He went on to become the first overall pick in the draft by the Cleveland Browns. Although New York Giants' running back Saquon Barkley won offensive ROY honors last season, Mayfield was high on the list with voters.
In 2018, Kyler Murray took over the reins at quarterback for the Sooners and he went on to win that year's Heisman. When the draft rolled around in late April, Murray came off the board first as the new signal caller for the Arizona Cardinals. He now has a chance to pull off the trifecta that Mayfield could not by winning offensive ROY honors this upcoming season.
There is definitely some value in his odds as the favorite on the NFL futures board at BetAnySports online sportsbook. However, as part of my ongoing coverage of the NFL for the popular sports betting site Scores & Stats, there is some even better value to be found in a few offensive rookies looking to make an immediate impact for their new NFL team.

Will Martin Truex Jr. Stay Hot at Pocono?
Martin Truex Jr. joined Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski as a trio of NASCAR drivers with three Cup Series point race wins this season by taking the checkered flag last Sunday night at Charlotte in the Coca-Cola 600. He comes into this Sunday afternoon's race at Pocono Raceway as a +650 third-favorite to win again according to the betting odds posted at BetAnySports.
Winning back-to-back races at NASCAR's highest level is a tough thing to do, but current form and past betting trends add quite a bit of value to the No. 19 Toyota's chances for a return trip to Victory Lane at Long Pond this Sunday.
As part of my weekly coverage of NASCAR for the popular sports betting site SBR Picks, the link below is to my complete preview of this Sunday's Pocono 400.

Betting On The NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year
The NFL offseason is a great time of the year to bet on all the futures and prop bets that are posted on board at BetAnySports. When it comes to player props for the 2019 regular season, a very popular betting prop covers the top candidates to win Defensive Rookie of the Year. Defensive lineman Joey Bosa was the second overall pick of this year's draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He opens as the clear favorite to win ROY honors on that side of the ball, but there is betting value in a few other defensive players poised to make a big impact right out of the gate.
As part of my NFL offseason coverage for the popular sports betting website Scores & Stats, the link below covers some of the players that have the best chance to win.

Early Betting Odds for The 2019 Belmont Stakes
This year's Triple Crown racing series for the top three-year old thoroughbreds in the nation comes to a close on Saturday, June 8 with the running of the Belmont Stakes. Horse bettors have already seen a 65/1 longshot replace the favorite as the winner of the Kentucky Derby due to an interference infraction. Country House produced one of the biggest payouts in Kentucky Derby history and Maximum Security was bumped all the way down to 17th in the final running order.
Neither of those colts ran in the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course to open the door for War of Will to take first in the second jewel of the crown. That race featured a three-year old colt named Bodexpress that remained competitive for most of the 1 3/16-mile run without a jockey after his rider was thrown to the ground coming out of the gate.
Who knows what this year's Belmont has in store for bettors with an anticipated field of 12 to 14 entries. BetAnySports has released its futures odds to win and, at the very least, this should remain a very competitive race over the longer distance of 1 1/2 miles on the dirt track at Belmont Park. As part of my Triple Crown coverage for the popular sports betting site Scores & Stats, the following link is to my early betting preview for this year's Belmont Stakes.

Sharks Look to Force a Game 7 Against St. Louis
Ever since the NHL All-Star break I have been touting the San Jose Sharks as the team to beat in the Western Conference. After surviving two seven-game series against Pacific Division rivals Vegas and Colorado, they are in St. Louis on Tuesday night for a must-win Game 6 showdown against the St. Louis Blues.
The Blues whitewashed the Sharks 5-0 in Game 5 as road underdogs to take the 3-2 series edge and they are now -170 home favorites at BetAnySports to end this series win another win in Game 6. The betting consensus and betting money have gravitated towards St. Louis, but I am riding the Sharks' bandwagon until it either crashes or turns around and heads back to San Jose for Thursday's deciding Game 7 showdown.

NFL Value Bets to Win Super Bowl LIV
The start of the 2019 NFL regular season is still months away, but it is no big surprise that the New England Patriots are once again favored to win this year's Super Bowl. They have been to the last three championship games with two more NFL titles on the overall resume of Bill Belichick as the head coach and Tom Brady as the starting quarterback.
The Los Angeles Rams won the NFC Championship last year before losing to New England 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII. They are the top favorites to win the conference again this season and second-favorites to win Super Bowl LIV on the NFL futures board at BetAnySports. As part of my offseason NFL coverage for the popular sports betting website Scores & Stats, I took a closer look at the betting odds to win the next Super Bowl in search of some of the best value in the numbers.
