NASCAR's Monster Energy Cup Series returns to Long Pond, Pennsylvania this week for the first race of the season at Pocono Raceway. Sunday's Pocono 400 is slated to get underway at 2 p.m. with FOX Sports 1 carrying the race nationally.
Kevin Harvick has already won five point-race events this season along with the 2018 All-Star Race at Charlotte. An early wreck ended his night at Charlotte last Sunday in the Coca-Cola 600. Filling the void with his fourth victory this season was Kyle Busch. These two drivers have now combined to win nine of the first 13 races on the schedule and neither is showing any signs of slowing down as the top two favorites at BetAnySports to win this Sunday's main event at Pocono.
While going chalk this season with the favorites has made NASCAR bettors a small fortune so far, I think the value in the odds for this race is a bit further down the betting board. As part of my weekly NASCAR coverage for SBR Picks, the link below is to my complete Pocono 400 preview as well as my top-value picks to win.

Santa Anita Gold Cup Trifecta Betting
While horse bettors patiently wait for next month's Belmont Stakes to see if Justify can complete an historic Triple Crown run, there is plenty of other horse racing action this Saturday starting with this year's Grade 1 Gold Cup at Santa Anita Park. The field is just seven deep in entries, but still deep in talent.
The Gold Cup is run on dirt over 1 1/4 miles and it is open to three-year old thoroughbreds and older. The total prize purse for this Saturday's main event at Santa Anita is $500,000. As part of my weekly horse racing coverage for ScoresandStats.com ,I have broken down the field to come up with a winning trifecta pick. Please check out the link below for my complete preview and betting pick.

Washington vs. Vegas Stanley Cup Finals Betting Report
The stage is set for this season's NHL Stanley Cup Finals with storylines all over the board. Game 1 of this best-of-seven clash between the Washington Capitals and the Vegas Golden Knights is set for Monday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Game time is 8 p.m. on ESPN.
Washington earned the reputation of being an 'easy out' in the postseason after failing to get past the second round nine times in the past 10 seasons. In 2014, the Capitals did not even qualify of the playoffs. The Golden Knights' playoff experience is limited to the three series they just played as an expansion team.
Another big storyline is each team's goalie. Washington's Braden Holtby comes into the NHL Finals red-hot after pitching a pair of shutouts to help his team closeout Tampa Bay in the Eastern Conference Finals in seven games. Vegas goalie Marc-Andre Fleury came to the team via an expansion draft after being cast aside by the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins. The veteran netminder has delivered in this postseason with a stellar goals-against average of 1.68.
When it comes to betting on this series, BetAnySports has opened Vegas as a -138 favorite on the series price odds with the moneyline on Washington set at +118 to win the 2018 Stanley Cup title. The betting odds for Monday's Game 1 also favors Vegas at -140. The Capitals come in as +120 road underdogs with the total set at 5.5 goals.
As part of my NHL coverage for ScoresandStats.com, my complete series preview and official betting pick can be found at the link below.

Johnny Football Goes North of the Border
I have been covering the CFL for SBR Picks over the last several seasons from the preseason futures odds all the way to the Grey Cup Championship. This season's coverage gets underway with a review of BetAnySports' CFL futures odds to win this year's title with an added twist.
With former Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL first round pick Johnny 'Football' Manziel signing a two-year deal with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, I added a few prop pick odds to the mix for what we can expect from his performance in the CFL this season. Anytime a former player from the NFL takes their talents to the Canadian game it makes news, but not since Doug Flutie lit things up at quarterback to become one of the best CFL players ever has the buzz been so loud for football north of the border.
Please check out the link below at SBR Picks for my 2018 CFL betting preview.

Preakness Stakes Free Trifecta Pick
Saturday afternoon's 143rd running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore should be the next step in Justify's bid to become just the third three-year old thoroughbred in the past 40 years to win an elusive Triple Crown title. He was opened as a heavy 1/2 favorite on the morning line in a small field of eight contenders with his biggest competition coming from Good Magic at 3/1 odds.
These two Kentucky-bred colts finished 1-2 at Churchill Downs two weeks ago in the Kentucky Derby. This Saturday's rematch in the second jewel of the Triple Crown racing series adds even more drama to this $1.5 million Grade 1 major stakes event. The rest of the field appears to be racing for the Show position, but Quip at 12/1 and Diamond King at 30/1 odds to win may have something to say about that. As part of my weekly horse racing coverage for ScoresandStats.com, I came up with my trifecta pick for the 2018 Preakness Stakes. Please click though the link below to see which three colts I have finishing in the money at Pimlico late Saturday afternoon.

NASCAR's All-Star Race Top-Valued Betting Odds
NASCAR's Monster Energy Cup Series takes a break this week from its point race schedule to run its annual All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway this Saturday night. This will be the first weekend a racing in Charlotte ahead of next Sunday night's Coca-Cola 600.
The green flag for this Saturday night's main event is set to wave at 8 p.m. on FOX Sports 1. As part of my weekly coverage of NASCAR for SBR Picks, I have broken down the odds to win this year's All-Star Race at BetAnySports to come up with three top-valued ways to cash a winning ticket based on the risk/reward in the numbers.
You probably cannot go wrong with a bet on either Kevin Harvick or Kyle Busch considering that the two hottest Cup Series drivers have combined to win eight of the first 12 point events on the 2018 schedule. However, the All-Star Race is limited 70-lap exhibition that spreads value in the betting odds much deeper into the field. To get my free picks to win this race, please click through the link below to my NASCAR preview at SBRPicks.com.

Preakness Stakes Top Prop Picks
The Kentucky Derby may be the crown jewel of the Triple Crown racing series for the top three-year old thoroughbreds in the nation, but this Saturday's Preakness Stakes builds the excitement for a possible Triple Crown run as the most elusive title in all sports.
Justify was the class of the 20-horse field in this year's Kentucky Derby with an impressive 1 1/4 mile run on a very sloppy track at Churchill Downs. This Kentucky-bred pedigree of Scat Daddy may be running in the slop again this Saturday at Pimlico Race Track as a prohibitive 1/2 favorite to win the Preakness. If he is successful in his bid to win the second leg of the Triple Crown against a much smaller field of eight contenders, he will try and join American Pharoah as the second Triple Crown Champion in the past 40 years with one final victory in the Belmont Stakes on June 9.
Winning the Preakness as a Kentucky Derby Champion is one thing. Adding a Belmont Stakes title to the list is a whole other ball game. Before American Pharoah broke through with his championship run in 2015, there were 12 other three-year olds that captured the first two legs of the Triple Crown since Affirmed completed the unlikely trifecta in 1978. All 12 horses met their match in that final leg.
In light of the past results in this historic racing series, I have come up with a trio of prop picks ahead of Saturday's Preakness as part of my weekly horse racing coverage for ScoresandStats.com. Please click through the link below for all of my free Preakness prop bet picks.
