Professional golf's second Major of the season gets underway this Thursday with the opening round of the US Open at Oakmont. The top three favorites to win according to BetAnySports just so happen to be the top three golfers in the current world rankings. I do not think that is a coincidence given that this tournament is usually the toughest test the top golfers in the world face all year long. Things could be especially difficult this week given that the last time the US Open was played at Oakmont in 2007, the best total score in the field after all four rounds was five strokes over par carded by Angel Cabrera.
As part of this week's top betting tips for Doc's Sports I take a closer look at the actual betting odds to win the 2016 US Open for the top few players in the world. I also cover a top WWE star's return to MMA fighting as well as the betting odds for my best bet to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year this season. Check out the link below for all of my top tips.

2016 Belmont Stakes Free Trifecta Pick
I started the 2016 Triple Crown racing season on a good note with a play on Nyquist as the favorite to win the Kentucky Derby. I went chalk with this horse again in the Preakness Stakes, but Exaggerator finally broke through with the win as the second choice after finishing second at Churchill Downs with the second-best betting odds in that race as well.
While the rubber match between the two most dominant three-year olds in the nation this year never materialized with Nyquist pulling out of this Saturday's Belmont Stakes, all eyes will still be on Exaggerator to see if he can lay claim to the third jewel of this season's crown as a 9/5 favorite on the morning line. The Belmont is the longest of the three Triple Crown races at 1 1/2 miles and that extra distance has been the downfall of quite a few favorites over the years. Last season American Pharoah defied the odds by winning this race to lay claim to the first Triple Crown title since 1978, but I have a strong feeling that this year's series is going to end-up with a different horse winning each of the three races.
Check out my recent post on SportsBettingStats.com at the link below to find out which other three-year old in Saturday's 13-horse field is my pick to win this race.

NBA Finals Game 3 Prop Picks
The Cleveland Cavaliers are basically in a must-win situation heading into tonight's Game 3 of the NBA Finals after getting waxed by Golden State in the first two games of this best-of-seven matchup. The big difference this time around is that the first two games were played on the road and this game will be played in the friendly confines of Quicken Loans Area.
The Cavaliers closed as six-point road underdogs in each of their first two games at Golden State and BetAnySports has them listed as slight one-point home favorites for Game 3. The total line for this game has been set at 205. The big question you to ask yourself is which Cleveland team shows up on Wednesday night? The one that rolled to the Eastern Conference title with a straight-up 12-2 record while going a perfect 7-0 on its home court or the one that was blown off the court in its last two games by a combined 48 points.
A change of venues in any championship series has a way of changing things up and I am banking on a much better showing from LeBron and Co. as part of this week's top prop picks for Doc's Sports. Check-out the link below for my top plays on a few alternate betting lines for Game 3.

BetAnySports.com Weekend Betting Preview
The NBA and NHL Championship series dominate the sports betting scene at BetAnySports this weekend starting on Saturday night with Game 3 of the Stanley Finals between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the San Jose Sharks. The Penguins swept the first two games of this best-of-seven series on their home ice, but BetAnySports has listed San Jose as a solid -133 home favorite to win Game 3. Over in the NBA, the defending champion Golden State Warriors took Game 1 of their best-of-seven rematch against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals and they come into Sunday's Game 2 as 6.5-point home favorites to take a 2-0 lead.
At the end of every week I put together a complete betting preview for the top action on the board each Saturday and Sunday at BetAnySports. NBA Finals Top Prop Picks
The 2016 NBA Finals get underway this Thursday night with Game 1 of a best-of-seven showdown between the East's Cleveland Cavaliers and the defending champion Golden State Warriors out of the West. These two teams are very familiar with one another after battling it out in last season's championship series. The Warriors prevailed in six games against a Cleveland squad that was missing two of its best players. This time around both teams are at full strength and Golden State is still a -225 favorite to win again according to BetAnySports' current series price odds with the Cavaliers listed as +185 underdogs.
To add some extra betting action this series, I devoted this week's top prop picks for Doc's Sports to a pair of picks that I believe have the best chance to add a few extra bucks to the betting bankroll when it is all said and done. Check out the link below to see which way I am leaning in the epic rematch.

Betting the Trends in Game 7 Between the Thunder and the Warriors
As part of this week's insider betting tips for Doc's Sports I took a closer look at some of the pertinent betting trends for tonight's deciding Game 7 of the NBA's Western Conference Finals. The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the verge of blowing a 3-1 series lead and the Golden State Warriors are on the brink of becoming just the 10th team in NBA playoff history to overcome such a deficit to win a series. With so much on the line in just one game, I pulled-out all the stops to uncover a few betting trends that definitely tip the scales in one of these team's favor.
Check-out the link below to my insider betting tips for this game as well as the upcoming matchup in the NHL's Stanley Cup Finals between San Jose and Pittsburgh as well as some betting odds for a proposed boxing bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC star Colin McGregor.

Longshot Set to Win Indy 500
I cover NASCAR's Sprint Cup series for Cappers Picks and you can find this week's picks for Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 in the NASCAR section on the site. As an added task this week they asked me to come up with my picks for Sunday's Indy 500, which is the biggest race of the year in IndyCar racing. This year's event offers a special twist since it is the 100th running of this storied race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which is commonly referred to as the Brickyard.
Handicapping IndyCar racing is somewhat different than NASCAR in the sense that a driver's starting position is far more important in open-wheeled racing than racing stock cars. Winning the pole position for a race like the Indy 500 almost guarantees that the driver of that car will be favored to win. It also makes picking longshots an almost guaranteed losing proposition given just how hard it is to beat the top favorites on a very tight track. That being said, I am still going out on a limb this Sunday with a driver at 20/1 odds as my winner. To find out who I think can upset the field in the 100th running of the Indy 500 just follow the link below to my compete race preview on Cappers Picks. To place your own bet on Sunday's race simply go to BetAnySports.com as the top online sportsbook for US sports bettors.
