NASCAR's 2016 Sprint Cup season is down to one final race for the title and the top four drivers in the current point standings will put everything on the line this Sunday in the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This year's Chase started in Chicago with 16 drivers vying for the championship, but when the engine smoke finally cleared following three elimination rounds, NASCAR's version of the Final Four includes six-time Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson, last year's series champ Kyle Busch, 26-year old Joey Logano and NASCAR veteran Carl Edwards.
The betting odds to win both Sunday's race as well as the 2016 Sprint Cup title all lean towards Johnson. This makes perfect sense considering everything he has already accomplished in a highly impressive racing career. The driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet also comes into this race in excellent form with previous Chase victories at Charlotte and more recently at Martinsville to earn an automatic qualifying spot in this Sunday's winner-take-all event. Busch is a solid second-favorite after placing in the Top 5 in six of the first nine races in this year's Chase and both Logano and Edwards are a bit further down the list in search of their first career Sprint Cup title.
Anything can happen this Sunday at Homestead-Miami and picking winners in any NASCAR race can be a tall task, but you will not catch me betting against Johnson to get it done for the seventh time in his storied stock car racing career.
